Here Are Top 3 Reasons Most Weight Loss Programs Fail

Focus on Weight Loss Only

The first reason is obvious - most programs only focus on helping you lose the weight now. 


They don’t teach or show you how to keep it off. 

It’s all about 3-day detoxes, 10-day cleanses, or 21-day workout fix. 

To be clear, when done right, there is nothing wrong with these programs. 

It’s just that the majority of them are focused on ‘now’ and don’t help you learn or acquire the mindsets, skills, support, tools, and resources you need to be consistent, make sustainable changes, and keep the weight off long term. 

One Size Fits All

How many times have you heard - ‘to lose weight just eat less and move more’?

While that works, the truth is that most people need some level of ‘personalization’ to make real and lasting change.

Why This Is Different

Why do most women lose weight… and then gain it back?

Almost everyone who wants to lose weight also wants to keep it off.

That’s the real goal.

But the reality is very different

Most people who lose weight gain most or all of it back within a few months or years.

You’ve probably seen it.

A dramatic “after” photo…

Followed months or years later by another version that looks uncomfortably close to the ‘before’. 

Maybe that’s happened to someone you know.

And if I’m being completely honest, I’ve seen it in my own coaching practice too.

Here’s the exact step-by-step process you’ll follow in the 7-Day Jumpstart.

STEP 1

Initial Assessment & Data Collection

To get to your goal destination you first have to know your current location.

In this first step, you’ll identify your ‘current status’ including your - health and medication history, body measurements, lifestyle, preferences, fitness level (if necessary), and your unique situation. 

You’ll need to: 

Complete and submit the initial coaching forms.

Complete the initial assessment - body weight, tape measurements (for belly, arms, hips, and any of your target areas), and body fat percentage (if available).

These take less than 10 minutes and you’ll get detailed instructions on how to do it. 

STEP 3

Action Plan & Next Steps

You’ll create your action plan for reaching the goals you set in step 2. Your action plan may include - a nutrition plan (meal plan, supplements, etc), a training & physical activity plan (workouts, steps, etc), habit & lifestyle modification (sleep, stress management, etc), and progress tracking. 

You’ll need to: 

Complete your initial 1-on-1 coaching session with your coach - if you’ve not already done so in step 2.

Like your goals, your coach will help you set realistic, flexible, and adaptable plans so that you can stay consistent and keep progressing. 

STEP 5

Build Your Support Team

In addition to the support (and guidance) from your coach and the program community, you’ll need to set up your own ‘S’ team, you know - like the A Team. 🙂

Anyway, your support team can include your partner, friends, colleagues, siblings, or anybody you know that wants the best for you and can hold you accountable.  

You’ll need to: 

Recruit at least one person to join your support team. 

Bring them up to speed - share your goals, plans, and how they can help you. 

STEP 2

Goal Setting

Done right, goal setting can be the difference between real progress and staying stuck.

In step 2 you’ll set long-, medium-, and short-term weight loss and health-related goals, performance goals, process & output goals, adherence & consistency goals, and team goals. 

Let me just tell you right now, as I’ve said a thousand times already, one of your goals WILL be to keep the weight off. We are not negotiating that one. 

You'll need to:

Complete your initial 1-on-1 coaching session with your coach - where you'll discuss and review the data from the previous step, identify potential obstacles, set clear, ambitious but realistic goals. 

STEP 4

Set Up Your Systems & Structure

We don’t rise to the level of our goals (or plans), we fall to the level of our systems. 

You’ll need to: 

Create your daily/weekly routine and schedule - making sure to include your workout, meal prep, 1-on–1 coaching time, sleep

Set up your environment - to support your action plan 

Get the tools, resources, & stuff you’ll need - groceries, scale weight, workout clothes,  exercise equipment, etc. 

STEP 6

Track Progress & Adjust Accordingly

You can’t change what you don’t measure. After your initial assessment, you’ll need to track and measure your progress (and other things) daily, weekly, or monthly.


You’ll need to: 

Measure and record your body weight and tape measurements (belly, arm, hips, etc), at different intervals 

Track your performance, sleep, energy level, overall health (blood pressure, sugar levels, etc), your adherence to your plan.

And then, use outcome-based decision making to determine your next steps.

Like I said before, the goal is to help you regain clarity, build momentum, and gain confidence.

1. Sign up for the 7-Day Jumpstart

Once you sign up, you’ll immediately receive a welcome email with access to the private community, welcome pack, and prep materials. Get ready to start on Sunday, Feb 16th. 

3. Complete your forms and initial assessment. 

Included in your welcome pack are the registration forms (PAR Q, Goals) and instructions for how to complete your initial assessment (weigh-in, tape measurements). Complete these steps and submit (or send to your Coach). 

5. Prep & Set up

By now you have your action plan and next steps. Next you’ll plan & structure your day and week, shop for groceries and meal prep, get workout clothes and equipment (if necessary), set up your environment to support change, build your support team, and get or set up any tools you need. 

7. Start your journey. Get ongoing support

Start strong and keep moving forward. Complete your daily task, share your wins, and ‘check-in’ with the group and your Coach. 

2. Join the members-only community

Join the private community. This is where the majority of the coaching, support, education, and update will happen. Meet other women in the program and get inspired to begin your journey.

4. Schedule your initial 1-on-1 ‘Breakthrough’ session with your Coach

When will the program start?

I am fasting (or about to start fasting) - can I still do this?

Yes. Whether it’s Ramadan or any other religious fast - we can help adjust the nutrition and activity to fit your fasting schedule safely. Plus, the 7-Day Jumpstart is not about extreme diets or workouts. It’s about figuring out a sustainable and adaptable approach that will work for you - even when you are fasting, out of town, or very busy. 

Is this really free?

Yes, The 7-Day Jumpstart is completely free. No credit card required. No hidden fees. After the 7 days, you'll have the option to continue into my 12-week coaching program - but there's zero pressure or obligation.

Does this actutally work?

Yes - but only if you show up and do the work. This isn't a magic pill. It's a proven system that works when YOU work. If you commit to 7 days, you'll see and feel the difference. That's my promise.

I am injured - will this work for me?

Most likely, yes. Every exercise includes modifications for different fitness levels and limitations. That said, always consult your doctor before starting any new program. Once cleared, I'll help you modify exercises to work around your injury safely.

Do I need to go to the gym?

No. All workouts can be done at home with minimal or no equipment. If you want to use a gym, that's great, but it's not required.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Yes! Every exercise includes beginner modifications. Whether you haven't worked out in years or you're brand new to strength training, you can do this. Start where you are, that's exactly what the 7-Day Jumpstart is for.

Will this work for me?

If you're a woman 35+ who's willing to show up consistently for 7 days, yes. This program is designed specifically for YOUR body at THIS stage of life. But I can't do the work for you - you have to commit to the process.

What kind of diet do you recommend in the program?

Definitely not an overly restrictive diet. Instead, you'll learn how to eat in a way that's sustainable: protein-focused, whole foods-based, and flexible enough to fit your real life. No food groups are eliminated. No starvation. Just smart nutrition that actually works.

What kind of workouts are included?

The workouts are simple and designed specifically for women - and focused on strength, movement, fat loss, and joint health. This will include strength training (25-30 min), cardio kickbox (25-30 min), daily walking (5000+ steps), exercise snacks (2-5 mins), and mobility drills (5-10 mins).

What if I miss a day during the program?

Life happens! If you miss a day, just pick up where you left off. Progress over perfection. The goal is consistency, not perfection.

Will I get meal plans?

You'll get meal IDEAS, recipes, and guidelines (protein targets, food lists), not rigid meal plans. This teaches you how to make sustainable choices, not just follow a temporary plan.

Can my partner/friend join me?

If they're a woman 35+, absolutely! Having an accountability partner increases success rates. If your partner is male or under 35, this specific program isn't designed for them, but I may have other options. Email me.

How is this different from other programs?

Congratulations! Yes, you can join, but with a few modifications. We'll adjust your calorie and protein targets to support breastfeeding, and workouts are safe for postpartum recovery. Always get clearance from your doctor first (typically 6-8 weeks postpartum, longer if you had a C-section).

I have a gym membership, can i still join the program?

Yes. Your workout and training program will also include gym-based workouts.

Is this all online?

Yes! Everything is 100% online—workouts, coaching, community, and support. You can do this from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

I don't live in Nigeria - can I still do the program?

Yes! This is a fully online program, so you can join from anywhere in the world. I've worked with clients across multiple countries and time zones.

Do I need exercise equipment or gym membership?

No! All workouts can be done at home with just your bodyweight. Optional but helpful: dumbbells (3-20 kg) or resistance bands. No gym required.

I'm in my 60s/70s - am I too old for this?

Absolutely not! I've coached women in their 60s who've gotten incredible results. Age is not a barrier, the wrong approach is. Every workout is scalable to your fitness level, and building strength becomes even MORE important as we age.

Can I join the program if my goal isn't weight loss?

Yes! Many women join to build strength, increase energy, improve sleep, manage stress, or simply feel better in their bodies. While the program is designed for weight loss, the MASS Framework works for any health and fitness goal.

I struggle with motivation and consistency - will this work for me?

YES. This is exactly why accountability and support are built into the program. You're not doing this alone. Daily messages, community support, and check-ins keep you on track even when motivation fades. Motivation is temporary. Systems and support are what create lasting results.

I am very busy and travel a lot - will this work for me?

Yes. The workouts are 25-30 minutes and can be done anywhere (hotel room, park, home, gym). Meals are simple, no complicated prep. This program is flexible and designed for REAL LIFE, not perfect schedules or conditions. 

I am over 100kg - will this work for me?

Yes! This program is designed for women of ALL sizes and fitness levels. Every exercise is scalable. Your starting weight doesn't matter, your commitment does. Many of my most successful clients started over 100kg.

I have a health challenge or pre-existing condition - can I still join the program?

I am a new mom and breastfeeding - can I join the program?

What happens if I don't see results in Week 0?
